Toshi Umezawa now under commands of Michiko and the Myojin of Night's Reach, tries to honor his commitments while pursuing his own ends. War between humans and spirits is still raging on the plane of Kamigawa and we discover a bit more the reasons behind the war. Konda, Michiko father's took advantage off a change in multivers to introduce himself in the spirit's world and steal "That Which Was Taken", the heart of the most powerfull kami and therefore access to divinity.

Betrayers of Kamigawa released on 4th february 2005 and is the second set of Kamigawa Block. It contains the cards Umezawa's Jitte, Kira, Great Glass-Spinner and Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni.
