Ticket to ride: the board game that will make you love trains
This is one of the board games that marked the early 2000s. Created by Alan R. Moon, you're bound to have seen its colorful locomotives and wagons. The game board depicts cities in Europe or the United States, just waiting to be linked by railroad lines.
The aim of the game is very simple: you have to create links between different cities to complete missions. The more complete your network, the more likely your company is to win. Draw the right wagon and destination cards, choose the most important objectives... and keep an eye on your opponents' networks.
Ticket to Ride has won countless awards, including the famous As d'Or (Golden Ace) Game of the Year in 2005. Critically acclaimed, it quickly became a classic board game for the whole family. Over 10 million copies of the various versions of Ticket to Ride have been sold since its creation.

In addition to basic games like USA, Europe or Germany, expansion boxes have been created to diversify your games and explore new territories.
Some titles add game boards, or even new game mechanics such as tolls, tunnels and ferries.
Express versions of Ticket to Ride
Ticket to ride is one of the best family board games, but the games are sometimes a little too long for some audiences.
The solution: condensed versions based on the same rules as Ticket to Ride, but with a faster, more nervous pace. Games last 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes to 1 hour for the basic games. In addition to the express version, there are also "Cities" versions that take you to Amsterdam, New York and London.
