With the Bergers & Moutons expansion, rediscover the joy of Carcassonne, the famous tile-laying game. Place vineyards to boost the value of your abbeys and gardens, add a shepherd to grow a flock of sheep, and take advantage of nearby geese to earn extra points. But beware—the wolf is lurking and may scatter your flock at any moment.

How to Play Carcassonne – Bergers & Moutons?

Bergers & Moutons is an expansion for Carcassonne. It requires the base game to play and is compatible with all other Carcassonne expansions. In addition to the classic rules, this expansion adds three new elements. When a tile with a vineyard is placed, adjacent abbeys and gardens score more points. When the field containing your shepherd expands, draw a token from the shepherd’s bag. This bag holds both Flock and Wolf tokens: Flock tokens increase the points you gain with your shepherd, but if you draw a Wolf, your entire flock is lost! Finally, geese grant bonus points to your flock if they are present in the surrounding fields.
