Magic: The Gathering Foundations is an edition that allows Magic players of all backgrounds, whether beginners or experienced, to get their hands on the cards that make up the essence of Magic.

Whether you're taking your first steps in Magic or you're an experienced player looking for cards to complete your decks in Standard, Commander or even Modern formats, Foundations is your best starting point!

Foundations contains 50% brand new cards and 50% iconic reprints from across the multiverse and the history of Magic. All cards in the edition will remain legal in Standard until at least 2029.

Get started with Magic, the pioneer of collectible card games, thanks to this Beginner box. It contains 2 starters decks of 20 cards each with a cats theme and a vampires theme, as well as 8 pre-constructed Jumpstart boosters with selected themes designed specifically for beginner players. Discover the rules of the game thanks to a guided learn-to-play experience that comes with a step-by-step tutorial to guide you through your first 5 turns.

Once you're more comfortable with the basic rules, each player takes 2 themed Jumpstart boosters and shuffles them together to obtain a 40-card deck with which you can immediately dive  into your first Magic games!
