Klink: Make your choices
Will you accept the cards on offer, or decline and take your turn?
In Klink, there are 63 cards with values from -5 to +20. On your turn, draw one face-up and one face-down, and choose whether to add them to your score. If you're not interested, offer them to someone who hasn't received them yet this turn. If there's no one left to offer them to, reveal the face-down card and add them to your score. Compose suites of three consecutive cards to use one of the game's special powers, and assemble pairs of the same value to flip these cards onto their backs and cancel their value. When a player reaches 10 cards in his or her score, the round ends, adding the value of all your cards. The person with the most cards deducts 10 points from his or her score and the person with the fewest cards adds 10 points, while those who manage to be without cards neither win nor lose anything. When a player reaches 77 points, the player with the fewest points wins. Can you manage to get the lowest score?
A cunning and intuitive game
Klink is a potential classic among atmospheric games. The fact that you can choose who to offer the cards you reject adds a nice dose of strategy and encourages extremely temporary alliances, leading to numerous twists and turns! The rules are easy to understand, and you can intuitively guess the tricks you'll have to deploy to win. A perfect atmospheric game for friends of all ages!
