All the factions of Otaria are fighting to decide with camp will rally Karona. Meanwhile, the Sliver hivelord appeared and is able to control all the hive with the strenght of his mind. Karn, the silver golem created by Urza during the war against the phyrexians made his apparition and saves the situation by taking Jeska out of Karona and by bringing her and the Mirari to the plane he created named Argentum (which will be later called Mirrodin). Karn will sculpt the Mirari to transform it into the guardian of his plane and he will name him Memnarch.
