Bang! (formerly Wanted!) is an atmospheric game combining bluff and confrontation in a western-inspired world. This card game was created by Emiliano Sciarra in 2003 and is now distributed by Asmodée.

 This board game plunges you into the merciless world of the Far West. Secret roles with a hint of bluffing, it's a frantic confrontation between the outlaws, the sheriff and his deputies who seek to keep order.

It's also available as a card game, or as a dice game. The choice is yours!

How to play Bang?

In a game of Bang! you play as the sheriff, a deputy, a renegade or an outlaw. Each player receives a character card that indicates his or her role...but they keep it face-down! Each player's role is secret, except for the sheriff, who must reveal his identity to everyone.

The aim of the game is simple! The outlaws must eliminate the sheriff. The Sheriff and his deputies must get rid of the outlaws and the Renegade. As for the Renegade, he wants to be the last one standing! His goal is to eliminate all the other players and finish with the Sheriff. To make a player lose, simply drop his hit points to 0.

The death of the Sheriff directly signals the end of the game, and the victory of the outlaw or the renegade.

How to win at Bang?

Thanks to your cards, you'll be able to gain a whole host of advantages. Revolvers and other lethal weapons to hit your opponents from afar, beers and other items to regain health points, and many other useful accessories! 

For example, the blue-edged cards are defensive or offensive accessories that will help you throughout the game.

And of course, the famous Bang cards are there to shoot at other players.

The average game lasts 30 minutes. The number of players can vary from 4 to 7, for ages 8 and up.

The different versions of Bang!

Bang! the dice game is inspired by the basic game, but with dice instead of cards. Roll the dice, shoot your enemies and lead your opponents to their doom. This version includes additional options. For example, you can steal your neighbor's gun!

For a Japanese-inspired version, you'll find Katana. Character cards include Shogun, Samurai, Ninja and Ronin, who are at the heart of this universe. Unlike the basic game, which uses life points, the aim in this version is to obtain honor points from your opponents.

For a two-player version of the basic game, check out Bang! Duel. The Sheriff takes on the Outlaw in a game lasting around 20 minutes.
