With Magic Origins, the game lets you return to the origins of the 5 planeswalkers who will shape the future of the multiverse. Retrace the journey of Gideon Jura, Jace Beleren, Liliana Vess, Chandra Naalar et Nissa Revane from the moment their spark ignites, making planeswalkers out of them, to the powerful mages they are today. To illustrate this evolution, each of these characters is represented on a transform card showing them at different stages of their life, and numerous other cards shine light on the major events of their story.

Magic Origins released the 17th July 2015, it's a core set meant to be easier for new players to get into. It contains the cards Jace, Vryn's Prodigy / Jace, Telepath Unbound, Liliana, Heretical Healer / Liliana, Defiant Necromancer and Nissa, Vastwood Seer / Nissa, Sage Animist.
