Trial by Frost is the very first expansion for the Altered card game! Continue your exploration of the world of Altered beyond the Asgartha Peninsula, with the goal of discovering the source of the Tumult, the magical phenomenon that continues to alter the world.
One major obstacle stands in your way: the Cais Adarra. This steep mountain range is shrouded into an eternal winter. Make your way through this hostile environment of ice and snow, and discover the wonders of the Cais Adarra while facing its fearsome dangers.
Trial by Frost brings several new gameplay elements, including a new type of Permanent, Gear, as well as characters who take advantage of the different region types!
In Altered, you play as the Hero of one of the 6 Factions of the game. Sent on an expedition, you and your Companion are to be the first to rediscover what happened to the Earth, after the Confluence, a magical storm, merged the imaginary world and ours.
Altered brings a lot of new elements to the world of trading card games. With its non-combat based gameplay, Altered is easy to learn and still offers a lot of strategic depth. Enjoy fast-paced turns, a redesigned use of mana and an ingenious Reserve system that changes how you decide to play your cards!
Collect unique cards in every 8 booster packs that no one in the entire world can own other than you. Surprise your opponent and spice up your games with truly unique decks that reflect your style.
Scan your cards, manage your collection, deckbuild and share your list with your friends, enjoy the lore, trade your cards and participate in local events, all in the same application!
